Hall of Fame event – October 24th
We’re delighted to announce our second headline event to mark 150 years of Oldham RL will take place on Saturday 24th October at St Annes Rugby Club.
It’s the anniversary week of the first ever match, against Stalybridge on 21st October 1876, and will be a fun packed evening with video footage and chats with former players and historians to tell the story of a century and a half of the Roughyeds. We will be inducting five more players; Sam Williams, Reg Farrar, Geoff Munro, Ray Ashton and Mick Parrish and one outstanding contribution member, Brian Gartland into the ‘Hall of Fame’.
Tickets are £12 per person including a pie and peas supper and supporters are encouraged to wear their Oldham shirts on the night.
Please spread the word and get there if you can!
